Coffee Frappe

Here is a fun coffee recipe that will satisfy your sweet tooth as well as soothe your coffee urge. This came originally from a Martha Stewart collection and is one of my favorites-full of rich tastes and very easy to make. Be sure to use your favorite organic coffee to get the best results!

Easy Coffee Frappe


  • 3 medium scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup chilled brewed coffee
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons Simple Syrup for Iced Coffee Drinks
  • Whipped cream
  • Cocoa powder


  1. Blend ice cream, ice, coffee, milk, and simple syrup in a blender until smooth. Pour into a tall glass. Top with whipped cream, and dust with cocoa powder.

Simple Syrup


  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water


  1. Bring sugar and water to a boil in a small saucepan over high heat. Cook, stirring, until sugar dissolves. Let cool.
